i went to lunch with one of jg's old classmates today. we got great sandwiches and did three months worth of catching up. i got this neat picture of her.
susanne at cantwell's market
that's a bottle of voss she's holding. i have never heard of this brand of water before. straight from norway, everybody!
i bought one of each
i didn't know what to make of it when susanne said, "it tastes like nothing, absolutely nothing." i was sold on the packaging. f--king scandinavians!
those darn scandies, anyway! I love the packaging. I am going to have to find some of that scandy goodness somewhere. Water that tastes like nothing is the best!

i guess that when the weather is mostly dark and snowy for 9 months/year, you have time to perfect your designs...great bottles. they remind me of cosmetics bottles.

ooo, I too am a sucker for the packaging - and have noticed the voss too. Want it just to have the fabby bottle!

i admit i am a sucker for sleek packaging, too. I will buy something and fully be aware that it is only for the packaging, not the goods within for which i am supposedly forking over my cash and yet i buy it anyway! so sad.

despite paying 10 quid for breaking the seal at an ian shrager hotel mini-bar, i do think it's an interesting, minimalist label. although, to a thirsty kalahari bushman it's probably worth it's weight in gold.
